A Sustainable Early Spring Wedding

Posted in Wedding Blog on May 03, 2022

Spring is seriously SO much fun to watch -- every week we look like we are a different venue. Here we are on April 2, and the bits of green are peeking out everywhere in the forest. It seems so appropos that our couple for this weekend was taking the last name of "Green."

The colors of the day were mauve and green -- mauve was in the linens, the bridesmaids dresses, found in our vintage rugs down the aisle and in pockets throughout the day.

We have said before, there is no shame in having a Publix cake if a detailed custom cake is not a priority for you. It's quite good and they even deliver. Put your money where it is most important toward your day -- for the Greens, the priorities were music and photography, so they hired DJ Scuba Steve and Thistlewood Photography. There's no wrong way to go about this, it's your day! We've had couples splurge on incredible food and excellent wine and go with a playlist for their wedding -- the choice is yours!

And this last photo -- they had portraits done of their dogs, who could not attend the wedding (we do permit the couple's dogs!). We had to do a double take, one looks so much like our Zoe! Wedding Date: April 2, 2022 All photos in this blog post are by Cameron Smith, of noremaC Studios, who takes a few photos on wedding day for the venue.
